for every visitor. Our venue is accessible to all, and people of all ages,
backgrounds, and languages are warmly welcomed.

gracing the AGOO Festival 2025 stages! Our line-up is a vibrant testament to
cultural richness, featuring diverse performers from both Finland and across
the globe, each bringing their unique story and sound to Vaasa.
Experience the breathtaking
artistry of Lawrence, a master of motion and rhythm who fuses danger,
elegance, and playfulness in a spectacular display of fire and finesse. With
high-energy acrobatics, mesmerizing fire spinning, daring limbo under blazing
flames, and charismatic hat juggling, Lorence's storytelling through movement
will leave spectators breathless.
Feel the powerful rhythms of Group Calabasse (Oulu), an afro-fusion band led by Senegalese traditional
percussionist Paco Ndiaye. Their music expertly blends West African rhythms,
the ethereal sounds of the 21-string kora harp, and Finnish folk melodies,
creating a rich, percussive, and highly danceable experience that will not
leave you cold.
Get ready to move with Matti & Sannu, professional dancers and teachers from Vaasa,
who aim to spread the joy of competitive and ballroom dancing to all ages and
levels. Prepare for an explosion of energy with Kangoo Jump, a dynamic, music-filled experience that's all about fun and happy
feelings—come experience the euphoria of jumping!
Dive into captivating soundscapes
with 65Hz, an electronic music collective hosting an Open
Deck session – come with your own record disc and share your favorite songs
with us! Feel the vibrant beats of Batucada
Vaasa/Vasa, Vaasa’s own lively
bateria (drumming) and samba dancers, bringing infectious carnival energy.
Don't miss the enchanting Pikku Aasi, presenting their delightful muppet theater performance, promising
wonder for all ages. Plus, discover the beauty and grace of Sri Lankan
tradition with Rhythm of Sri Lanka, whose dancers bring cultural storytelling to
life through movement and color.
We are especially thrilled to
feature Francis Oyeyiola, a Ghanaian dance expert, cultural practitioner,
and co-founder of Kpanlogo Yédé ry. Based in Vaasa, Francis dedicates himself
to sharing vibrant West African dance traditions and fostering multicultural
understanding.
SaborLatino from Seinäjoki will be offering an interactive dance workshop
filled with Salsa, Bachata and Reggaeton — no matter your level, you're welcome
to join and feel the rhythm.
Rising talent Skelia will take the stage with powerful live performances representing the voices of
a new generation. Don’t miss these local artist bringing fresh energy and bold
presence.
Luis comes from Mexico
and brings the warm, lively spirit of Mexican music to AGOO Festival. He
started his musical journey as a street performer over 11 years ago, and today
he continues to share the joy of traditional mariachi sounds and heartfelt
ballads. His music reflects the soul of Mexico and the passion he carries for
playing and connecting with people through song.
Highlife
Jam is all about rhythm, groove,
and connection. Represented by Eric Kwame, this act brings the uplifting energy
of West African highlife music to the stage — full of melody, movement, and
community vibes. Eric's performance promises an unforgettable blend of
tradition and celebration.
